About Keperling Preservation Services

Keperling Preservation Services, a small, disadvantaged business, has an office and architectural mill shop based in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, providing a base to serve the Mid-Atlantic region. We specialize in older buildings with a custom mill shop to create one-of-a-kind details to accent any project. In addition to our manufacturing abilities, we also work on-site to install what we manufacture—creating a one-stop solution for the cabinetry and millwork aspects of a project.

Using our 5,000-square-foot shop to restore original windows and doors has helped to save money on prevailing wage projects by allowing most of the work to be completed off-site.

Preservation contractors specializing in the restoration and preservation of 18th-, 19th-, and early 20th-century buildings using traditional methods and materials.

Traditional builders serving public and private clients in the Mid-Atlantic region, specializing in historic restoration, sympathetic additions, custom cabinetry, and millwork.

Offering maintenance audits to help private historic homeowners prioritize and plan for the upkeep of their historic buildings.

Consultative preservation services available nationwide, including help with developing preservation plans, specifying products/work methods, selecting local contractors, and overseeing projects.

Keperling Preservation Hub provides ongoing guidance on maintenance and specific projects at a fraction of the cost of full consulting services.
