Howdy subscribers, we're sharing some knowledge about how much of the falling Interior plastered ceiling to remove, then how to re-plaster it.
Note: there is no need to remove the entire ceiling.
These joint compounds come in 20-pound bags of dry powder.
Yes, you have to mix with a drill in clean buckets.
Names of the most common joint Compounds are Westpac Fast Set or USG Easy Sand in this video:

One of the most common causes of a buckling ceiling is, falling off the ceiling joist beams into and onto the timber wood lath, it happens.
If you lightly step onto the timber lath or fall through up to your hip dictates the level of ceiling repair.
How many of you folks have done this before? I have, and I know better!
We all know someone in their attic who stepped off a rafter and placed their foot through a plaster ceiling.
One guy I know went through the plaster ceiling down to his hip. Man, I wish I could have seen that.
You'd call that a Kodak or, these days, a Facebook moment.
Folks, you can depend on us for sound advice throughout our videos.
