DIY Victorian Lampshade | Attempting to make 2 Lampshades | Hello everyone and welcome or welcome back. I have been working on these two lampshades on and off for quite a few months now and it has ben such a fun and unique project. I've never tried anything quite like it but new when I stumbled across it that I had to take a stab at it. I ordered my wire frames back in late march/early April (see link below) had them custom welded and shipped out to me.
I then began thinking of the design and look I was going for and decided on this rich red for my apothecary/sewing room/office that I've been renovating (reveal is coming in just a few weeks so keep your eyes out) and a green for my dining room. I wanted to have a test run first so I could better understand how to do things but ended up filming the process for both.
I'm showing you how I made these two victorian inspired lampshades and all the things I did and what I learned during the process.
