DIY ROOF: OUT WITH THE OLD

After using the existing roof to lift the largest beams into position, we started ripping off the old roof. Lots of rusty nails, rotten bits of wood, cracked roofing sheets, and dust.. Not much more to add apart from this was one of the most dangerous parts, as standing on a rotten roof is never a good idea! Next we moved the new beams into their final positions, and concreted pads beneath them - simple and very strong!
