Around The Shop - Repairing and Reassembling

Refurbishing, refinishing and painting cast iron radiators is one thing, but repairing them is a different animal all together.

The push nipples in this rad had almost completely rotted out, and given that the original manufacturer of the rad is long gone, it made replacing those parts slightly challenging.

After two attempts of purchasing push nipples somewhere else, we finally drew out and designed some replacements, had them machined out, and they were a perfect fit.
