Speedheater sells replacement bulbs so that you can perform routine preventive maintenance on your Speedheater Cobra vs just throwing it away, or replacing the entire tool. The six small Speedheater™Cobra infrared replacement bulbs are permanently mounted in two ceramic end blocks as one module. The life expectancy of the bulbs is around 5,000 hours. Extra care should be taken to not drop or bang the Cobra. If one bulb cracks, the entire module must be replaced.
