We have now arrived to the point of the kitchen remodel project where work is being performed and completed. So, we need to take a moment to ensure that the Farmhouse Kitchen Remodel project is running properly and efficiently, up to this point. Referring back to Project Planning 101, we want to specifically look at Project Monitoring and Controlling, which is Part 4 of the five part process for managing projects. The finish line is close as we arrive to the last phase of execution for the our Farmhouse Kitchen Remodel. Kitchen Remodel, Execution Phase II finished up installing the kitchen cabinets, restoring the original trim, and the original maple floors are ready for stain. Its time to wrap up all the major details, from farmhouse sink installation, to a “pressed tin” ceiling look that we will accomplish in a very unique way. Another week of “sweat equity”, and a little more progress made on this this old farmhouse kitchen! So, Farmhouse Kitchen Execution Phase I left us at the rough inspection (for electrical, plumbing, carpentry, etc). Everything passed inspection, so now we continue on to Farmhouse Kitchen Remodel, Execution Phase II. This is where we start to see the new kitchen design take some shape, as we will be stripping the old floor, installing the cabinets, and more. Phase II will consist of:
